When and where your riding kit and your machine are inspected during Manx Grand Prix race week, taken from Section 1 of the technical regulations.
The regulations are the authority
Summarised from the 2026 Classic TT / Manx Grand Prix Technical Regulations, checked on 31 July 2026. They may be amended by Bulletin during the season — always check the full document before presenting your kit or your machine.
Further inspections of competitor equipment take place during the event.
Pre-qualifying inspection
Before every qualifying session
Every machine must pass through the Technical Inspection bay before each
qualifying session. Machines are not approved if their appearance is not appropriate to the
status of the event, and fairings must be removed if the Chief Technical Officer asks.
