2026 MGP Schedule

Roads close to allow racing and reopen as soon as it is safe. Times are the earliest closure and the latest reopening - always follow marshals' instructions on the day.

Closure periods

Contingency Additional times the roads will be closed if a contingency session is used. The Clerk of the Course announces this on the day.

NoteDespite the closure times specified in the table, where a closure period is specified until 5.00pm, and the organiser intends to implement a further closure commencing at 6.00pm on the same day, the course must be reopened no later than 4.30pm.

If the organiser is able to complete all racing activity by 5.00pm without requiring the evening closure, the Department will be minded to accept the full closure period up to 5.00pm.
