MANX GRAND PRIX CONFIRMS 2027 SUPERTWIN AND SPORTBIKE ELIGIBILITY

Both Supertwin and Sportbike machinery will remain eligible to compete at the Manx Grand Prix in 2027.

The eligibility framework used for the 2026 event will continue, with both types of machine accepted for the Sportbike Manx Grand Prix and Junior Manx Grand Prix races.

The decision recognises the investment competitors and teams have made in existing Supertwin machinery while continuing to provide opportunities for the newer generation of Sportbike motorcycles. Retaining both options will give competitors greater certainty when planning for the 2027 event.

It will allow riders to continue competing on familiar and proven Supertwin machinery, while supporting the continued development and adoption of Sportbikes within the Manx Grand Prix.

The approach is intended to maintain accessible racing opportunities for established competitors and newcomers while allowing the event’s machinery mix to evolve over time.

Detailed technical regulations, entry information and other arrangements for the 2027 Manx Grand Prix will be published in due course.
