TT MERCURY CLUB & TT LEGENDS CLUB – OFFICIAL HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCES

The purchase of a ticket by the purchaser ("Purchaser" or "Ticket Holder") to gain entry to an Official Hospitality venue (the “Venue”) for the Isle of Man TT Races or Manx Grand Prix (the “Event”) constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions. The TT Event is promoted by the Isle of Man Government’s Department for Enterprise (DfE) with the Manx Grand Prix Event promoted by the Manx Motorcycle Club (“MMCC”). Both events are organised by ACU Events Limited. References to DfE mean staff, volunteers or contractors appointed by DfE

1. OFFICIAL TT HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCES: This ticket is for hospitality in the TT Mercury Club (“the Club”)

2. PROPRIETORIAL RIGHTS: This ticket is and remains at all times the property of the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise ( “the DfE”) The ticket holder shall not: (a) use, offer or apply the ticket as a prize or competition or for any other promotional, or commercial purpose without the express permission of the DfE; or (b) sell, resell, donate, transfer or in any way dispose of the ticket to any person/entity via any media (including without limitation on the internet) for the purpose of commercial gain or otherwise

3. OPENING HOURS: For race day hospitality events the Suite will open and close in accordance with the times stipulated in the TT Mercury Club Booklet. Ticket holders are permitted to leave the Suite and return at any time before the closing time of the suite. The ticket holder’s Club Pass will be required for re-entry. Other TT Mercury Club event opening times are as per the ticket.

4. TT MERCURY CLUB LOCATION: The Club is located to the south of the Main TT Grandstand adjacent to the competitor return lane. The Club is defined by the fenced garden area surrounding the Club and inside the Club itself. For the avoidance of doubt the expression “Club” in these terms and conditions includes the TT Mercury Club location unless otherwise stated. 

5. DRESS CODE: The dress code for the Club is smart casual. Anyone considered by the DfE or its contractors to be dressed in breach of the dress code will be denied access or removed from the Club. Team wear is permitted.

6. AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guests attending a the TT Mercury Club for a Race Day package must be aged 16 or over. Guests aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For all other events please see the individual ticket description for any age restrictions.

7. CATERING: Where catering is provided, ticket holders must advise of any special dietary requirements including allergies and our caterers will use reasonable endeavours to meet those requests. As the service provided is for full refreshments and meals our caterer has the sole rights for the provision of food and liquor within the Club and therefore no items of this nature may be brought into the Club. Please note that the complimentary bar consists of beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks. Wherever possible, dietary requirements will be met subject to at least 72 hours’ notice being provided to customer services by emailing iomttraces@gov.im.

8. LICENSING: For TT Mercury Club and TT Legend Hospitality Ticket Holders, the complimentary bar will open at 11.30am and close at 4.45pm.  For all other events, a Pay Bar will be in operation and the bar will be open as advertised for that event. The Licensee will be on the premises at all times and the Licensee has the right to refuse service, without reason.

9. PETS: No animals, except guide dogs, are admitted to any part of the Club, including the car park. Anyone arriving with an animal will be turned away.  

10. SMOKING: The Club, including the garden area, is a non-smoking area.

11. CONDUCT: Reasonable behaviour is required at all times. The use of abusive or dangerous behaviour or any behaviour likely to cause offence will be considered a breach of the Terms and Conditions and may result in ejection from the Club. No refund or compensation will be payable to the ticket holder in such circumstances. Any behaviour in a restricted area (i.e. Parc Ferme, Start Line etc) deemed inappropriate or dangerous to competitors and/or officials will result in that guest being removed from the area and their pass will be revoked.

12. ADVERTISING: You may not affix or display, or permit to be affixed or displayed, anything whatsoever inside or outside the Club. This includes any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials.  The ticket holder shall not offer or distribute within or around the Club any consumer article or commercial product or service or any leaflet relating thereto unless express permission is granted by the DfE.

13. PHOTOGRAPHY: The use of photographic equipment is allowed for private domestic purposes only.  All other recording and transmission is prohibited including (without limitation) recording of any data information or results of or relating to the event and any participant. As a condition of entry to the event you assign (by way of a present assignment of future copyright) the copyright in any photographs or recordings you make at the event to the DfE.

14. TRADING: No trading without consent from the DfE is permitted within the Club, Grandstand, Noble’s Park and Paddock Areas or any official car park.

15. REVISIONS: Whilst every effort will be made to present the packages as described, the DfE reserve the right to alter where necessary the details of the packages whilst maintaining the value of any packages so affected. The DfE reserve the right to withdraw this hospitality offer from sale at any time. The DfE reserves the right to alter or add to the Terms and Conditions at any time and with immediate effect. 

16. NOISE: During the Event the noise level may be very loud inside and outside the Venue. In particular Ticket Holders are advised to wear hearing protection during races and live concerts (if any) to reduce the risk of hearing damage.

17. HEALTH RESTRICTIONS: DfE reserves the right to impose and/or update such health restrictions, warnings or guidance at any time as a condition of admittance to, and/or in relation to behaviour at, the Venu as DfE considers appropriate, taking into account current circumstances at that time or in response to any guidance or requirements issued by the Government, Public Health England, any other governmental, judicial or regulatory authority or issued by any rights holder or governing body.  Any requirements, changes or updates will be communicated via the SCL website, email or notices at the Venue.

18. ADMISSION: DfE reserves the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the Grandstand who do not comply with these terms and conditions, or who represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the staging of the Event or who have in their possession prohibited items, which shall include but not be limited to:

Bags over 20 litre capacity

Glass bottles and glass containers

Restricted and illegal substances

Offensive weapons

Items that are deemed dangerous, offensive or unsuitable

Drones or remote-controlled aircraft

Step ladders or any similar item which may obstruct another attendees’ view

Lasers

Fireworks / pyrotechnics

Any items which might be subject to ambush marketing

Smoke canisters

Powered scooters (excluding disability scooters) / hover boards 

Electric cycles 

Sun parasols (excluding umbrellas)

Alcohol

19. REFUNDS: OFFICIAL EXPERIENCE TICKETS – RACE DAY HOSPITALITY: No refunds will be offered for Hospitality tickets. Bookings are made for Hospitality on a particular day, irrespective of whether racing is postponed, delayed or cancelled. A full day’s hospitality and entertainment will be provided on the specified ticket date. 

Should the conclusion of races exceed 5pm when the Suite closes, guests will be permitted to watch the duration of the race from the VIP garden however the bar will close at the usual time of 4.45pm, and the Suite will close at 5pm promptly to allow for preparation of any evening entertainment.

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the Race Day Hospitality event is cancelled by the DfE.

Tickets purchased as part of a package - if you purchased your tickets from one of our Official Travel Partners you will need to contact them directly should you need to arrange a refund, subject to their own Terms and Conditions of purchase.

Tickets cannot be exchanged for another event.   

20. REFUNDS: OFFICIAL EXPERIENCE TICKETS: Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the performance is cancelled or rescheduled or where there is a material change (making the event materially different to the event that the ticket purchaser could responsibly expect) to the event. 

Tickets purchased as part of a package - if you purchased your tickets from one of our Official Travel Partners you will need to contact them directly should you need to arrange a refund, subject to their own Terms and Conditions of purchase.

Tickets cannot be exchanged for another event.

OFFICIAL GRANDSTANDS - refers to the Official Grandstand specified on the Ticket

21. OPENING HOURS: The Official Grandstands will open at the time specified on the ticket

22. ADMISSION: a. The entire ticket, showing the QR Code, is required to gain admission to an Official Grandstand. Printed receipts are not acceptable. The ticket holder must ensure the ticket is kept safe and in a good condition as a duplicate ticket will not be issued if it is lost or stolen and a defaced or illegible ticket may become invalidated. Tickets can be presented via electronic method (mobile phone, tablet etc.) or printed hard copy. Replacement tickets are available from the Official Box Office located at the TT Grandstand

b. One ticket entitles one person to a specific seat in the Official Grandstand specified on the Ticket. 

c. Spectators are permitted to leave their seat and return at any time during track activity covered on the relevant day. Ticket holders will receive an admission stamp on their hand upon initial entry which will permit later access should they leave the Grandstand. Ticket holders must keep their tickets safe and in good condition     

d. DfE reserves the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the Grandstand who do not comply with these terms and conditions, or who represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the staging of the Event or who have in their possession prohibited items, which shall include but not be limited to:

No refund or compensation will be payable to the ticket holder in such circumstances. Any behaviour in a restricted area (i.e. Parc Ferme, Start Line etc) deemed inappropriate or dangerous to competitors and/or officials will result in that guest being removed from the area and their pass will be revoked.

27. REVISIONS: a. Whilst every effort will be made to present the packages as described, the DfE reserve the right to alter where necessary the details of the packages whilst maintaining the value of any packages so affected. The DfE reserve the right to withdraw this Grandstand offer from sale at any time. The DfE reserves the right to alter or add to the Terms and Conditions at any time and with immediate effect. 

b. DfE reserves the right to alter your seat allocation without prior notice. If this is necessary for any reason, DfE will reimburse any reduction in value between the original and altered seat allocation.

28. PETS: No animals, except guide or assistance dogs, are admitted to any part of the Grandstand, including the car park. Anyone arriving with an animal will be refused access. All registered assistance dogs are welcome. However, before your arrival please email us on iomttraces@gov.im so that the necessary arrangements can be made. 

29. ALCOHOL AND SMOKING: Ticket holders are not permitted to take alcohol onto the Grandstand, nor are they permitted to smoke or vape on the Grandstand.  

30. AGE RESTRICTIONS: Children using a ticket must be accompanied, and supervised at all times, by a full paying adult. Each full paying adult may bring up to a maximum of four children. A child must be sat with the accompanying adult. Children under the age of 18 at the date of the ticket must be accompanied by an adult.

31. 32. OFFICIAL TT GRANDSTAND LOCATIONS: All Official TT Grandstands are located on Glencrutchery Road, Douglas, IM2 6DA. The Main TT Grandstand is located by the pitlane with the Noble’s Park Grandstand located approx. 600m south.

33. DRONES: The use of drones or similar equipment, for any reason, is prohibited on or near the Event.

34. UPON CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT: In the interests of public safety, DfE reserves the right to request Ticket Holders to leave the Venue at any time for safety reasons or immediately after the Event. There shall be no admission or re-admission after the end of the Event.

37. REFUNDS: OFFICIAL GRANDSTAND TICKETS – QUALIFYING SESSIONS: a. Tickets are purchased and valid for a specific date and not for specific qualifying sessions. Qualifying sessions scheduled to take place on a specific date are subject to schedule change in the event of postponement or cancellation e.g. in the event of poor weather.

b. Tickets purchased for qualifying dates are only valid for the date displayed on the ticket.

c. Refunds are only available in the following circumstances:

Less than 30 minutes of on track action (i.e. clock starts when first bike leaves Grandstand to when session is red flagged/chequered flag and is not restarted) – 100% refund

More than 30 minutes but less than 60 minutes of on track action – 50% refund

More than 60 minutes – no refund

If you paid using cash you will need to attend the Official Box Office at the TT Grandstand to arrange a refund – such requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of the date specified on the ticket. If claiming a refund from the Box Office, you must show your ticket to the Box Office Staff.

d. Exchanges are not available. 

e. If you booked tickets through a travel partner, you will need to contact them directly to receive a refund subject to their own Terms and Conditions.

f. In the event of a cancellation, please do not call or email the Helpdesk. You will be contacted as soon as possible.

38. REFUNDS: OFFICIAL GRANDSTAND TICKETS - RACE DAYS: a. Tickets are purchased and valid for a specific date and not for specific races. Races scheduled to take place on a specific date are subject to schedule change in the event of postponement or cancellation e.g. in the event of poor weather.

b. Tickets purchased for race days are only valid for the date displayed on the ticket.

c. Refunds are only available in the following circumstances:

Full race schedule cancelled, or less than 50% of race 1 completed – 100% refund (Based on the most recently issued race schedule. i.e. this is based on most recent schedule, rather than 4 laps advertised previously. If race is reduced to 2 laps, and is completed, that counts as ‘full race distance’

1 full race distance completed and remainder of schedule cancelled or postponed – 50% refund

If only 1 race scheduled, less than 50% of race distance completed – 50% refund

Full race schedule completed – no refund   

d. In the event that all or part of a race schedule is postponed to the following day, or in the event that all of part of a race day schedule is brought forward to an earlier day, an email will be sent to the email address associated with the booking to advise the ticket holder on whether the ticket will be validated to allow access on a different date or if a refund is available. Please note that this information will also be displayed at the TT Grandstand Box Office and on the Official Website www.iomttraces.com

e. In the event two separate race day schedules are combined, the priority will be given to the holder of the ticket on the date of the new schedule (I.e. schedule for 4th June is moved to 6th June. Holders of tickets for 6th June will be given priority, whilst ticket holders for 4th June will be provided a full refund and will need to make a new booking for 6th June if there is availability).

f. If you paid using cash you will need to attend the Official Box Office at the TT Grandstand to arrange a refund – such requests for refunds must be made within 7 days of the date specified on the ticket.

g. Exchanges are not available. 

h. If you booked tickets through a travel partner, you will need to contact them directly to receive a refund subject to their own Terms and Conditions.

i. In the event of a cancellation, please do not call or email the Helpdesk. You will be contacted as soon as possible

MOTORSPORT REGULATIONS: WARNING MOTORSPORT CAN BE DANGEROUS

Despite the organisers and promoters taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen. In respect of this, you and all other patrons are present at your own risk.

Rights to refuse admission are reserved.  You shall not do or permit anything to be done which may be or become a nuisance or annoyance to the DfE its authorised agents, other patrons or members of the public. In the interests of public safety the DfE reserves the right to request you to leave the venue at any time for safety reasons or immediately after the event. 

No admission or re-admission is permitted after the end of the event. Neither the DfE or its agents shall be liable for any injury or accident whatsoever to the patron or his guest nor for any loss or damage to, or theft of property however such injury, loss or damage may be caused (whether by the negligence of the DfE or its employees or otherwise), provided always that this exclusion of liability shall not apply in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the DfE or its agents or for which it is legally responsible. 

The DfE reserve the right to alter or add to the terms and conditions at any time and with immediate effect.
