THE Manx Motor Cycle Club Announces New Sponsorship Partnership with Startline Podcast!

The Manx Motor Cycle Club (MMCC) is pleased to announce a new sponsorship partnership with broadcaster and content creator Beth Espey, founder of the acclaimed Startline Podcast.

Launched in October 2025, the Startline Podcast was created to spotlight road racing on the Isle of Man, with a distinctive focus on Manx Grand Prix newcomers. The series follows riders from their initial expression of interest through preparation, qualification, and ultimately to the start line of the Manx Grand Prix.

Its behind‑the‑scenes access offers listeners an unprecedented insight into one of the world’s most iconic road racing events.

In a short period, Startline has established itself as an influential voice within the road racing community.

With more than 25 episodes now available across major platforms including Apple Podcasts and Spotify, the podcast has earned a strong following for its authentic storytelling, informed commentary, and in‑depth interviews. It has quickly become essential listening for competitors, supporters, and fans of the Manx Grand Prix.

John McBride, Chairman of the Manx Motor Cycle Club, welcomed the partnership, saying:

This felt like a completely natural collaboration. With the Manx Grand Prix at the heart of the Startline Podcast, it’s fantastic to have someone with Beth Espey’s broadcasting experience and passion for the sport working closely with the MMCC. Partnerships like this play a vital role in promoting the event and sharing the stories that make the Manx Grand Prix so special.

This collaboration represents an important step in strengthening the media profile of the Manx Grand Prix, celebrating its riders, and continuing to share the stories that define road racing on the Isle of Man.

Beth Espey expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership:

I’m really pleased to be able to partner with the Manx Motor Cycle Club. Since it began, Startline has been all about the riders — their passion for road racing and the challenges they face. Working now with the organisers of the Manx Grand Prix means we’ll be able to follow even more of that journey, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Jim Hunter, Deputy Chairman of the MMCC, added:

I am a big fan of the Startline Podcast, and I was delighted when the opportunity to collaborate with Beth was presented to the MMCC. The podcast is a wonderful advert for the MGP, and we hope that as Startline continues to promote the event, we can support its growth by raising awareness and giving Beth access to everything we do.

The Startline Podcast is available on all major podcast platforms.

Listeners can follow and subscribe by searching Startline Podcast on their preferred app or via Google.
